A rare and amazing Iron by Saunders, colloquially known as the ‘Silver Streak’ this iron became a piece of collectible design by making its body out of Pyrex glass. This interesting innovation came in the 1940s when metal was hard to come by due to the war, Saunders found an interesting application for Pyrex, which had been invented in 1915.
