A beautifully made table magnifier by Hermes, with a domed crystal body and a sterling silver with a gold-wash (vermeil) figural belt strap as the casing. This is a fine example to the lengths Hermes would go to, in order to make the finest pieces for the home and office. The sterling silver belt strap is expertly finished to appear as a normal belt strap would, curving and bending through the clasp, and finished in a gorgeous engine-turned texture.
