A large and rare WPA road construction sign fashioned out of painted wood and mounted in a blackened steel shadowbox. This impressive sign is a great signifier of the WPA era. Pieces like this were used to showcase to the US citizens what was being accomplished as the WPA administration worked on improving various aspects of American life.
