A fine and rare box by Shreve Crump & Low, one of America's earliest and most prolific jewelers since the late 18th century. Featuring a copper base with four protruding feet, this lovely box is complete with a hand-chased sterling silver top with enamel finial. This sizable and rare box is a great example of American silversmithing during the turn of the 19th into the 20th century.
